The Scuola di Scultura A sculpture school was founded in Peccia in the middle of the Ticino Alps in 1984. From its modest beginnings, it has developed into a flourishing art school that has become an indispensable part of the Swiss educational landscape. With its wide range of courses, it opens up to students the broad field of sculpting with marble and other materials.

Sculptor in the third generation. Since 2002 at the Scuola di Scultura in Peccia: deputy director. Since 2002 board member of the patrons' association "Pro Scuola di Scultura". Die Scuola di Scultura 1984 entstand in Peccia mitten in den Tessiner Alpen eine Bildhauerschule. Aus bescheidenen Anfängen hat sie sich zu einer blühenden Kunstschule entwickelt, die heute aus der Schweizer Bildungslandschaft nicht mehr wegzudenken ist. Mit ihrem reichen Kursangebot erschliesst sie den Lernenden das weite Feld des Gestaltens mit Marmor und anderen Werkstoffen. Auch bietet sie eine über mehrere Jahre ausgelegte bildhauerische Weiterbildung. Mit ihren Ausstellungen erreicht sie eine grosse Öffentlichkeit: Peccia ist durch sie ein Kulturplatz geworden.
