METAMORPHOSIS

"Everything only changes, nothing dies."

This quote from Ovid (Metamorphoses) forms the starting point for the art exhibition "METAMORPHOSIS"

This exhibition explores the many facets of change and transformation. It opens the door to creative artistic power without setting limits. The works either directly represent metamorphosis itself, were created in contact with nature or were given new life through upcycling. The aim is not only to inspire viewers, but also to explore the connection between art, nature and metamorphoses in human life.

Participating artists:

Abbaldo Mariagrazia & Albertelli Paolo, Gabrieli Christoph, Geiser Siegmund, Hartl Monika, Hell Martin, Höllrigl Michael, Langer Jan, Loewit Georg, Martinelli Christian, Mayr Clara, Mikyta Svätopluk, Morgavi Guido, Moroder Gerald, Oberprantacher Hansjörg, Obkircher Patrick, Pan Laura, Perkmann Elias, Platzer Florian, Pompa Adriano, Pöll Martin, Runggaldier Hermann Josef, Senoner Fabrizio, Sieff Matthias, Trettel Ariel

The Wall

In 2012, an artist converges on a consortium in Gargazzone shortly after a large fire and selects some solid fragments from the melting of bins with apples. In 2013, he assembles the various parts of polyethylene H into a sculptural work with a Nordic green colour, shaping them into a kind of wall, a symbolic border between monoculture and biodiversity. I dedicate this artistic installation to Armin Bernhard, sharing one of his many dreams: the creation in the western part of Südtirol of an Eco-region, a biosphere, the 'Bio Region Malles', which incorporates not only the upper Vinschgau in Italy but also the Lower Engiadina/Val Müstair region in Switzerland and the Landeck district in Austria.
