Dialogue in Hannover

Enjoy the dynamic sculptures of Auke de Vries.

Intervention VII - "Terugkeer 2000-2023", showcases small-format and poetic steel sculptures and drawings by Auke de Vries. The Dutch artist surprises the viewer with his enigmatic humour and bold constructions.

The exhibition is connected with the renovation of his large sculpture "O.T." at the Hanover stadium, which was donated by the Netherlands to the city of Hannover at the World Expo in 2000.

Kunstraum Friesenstrasse in Hannover was created by the art collector Gisela Sperling in 2019, to share her collection with the public. The focus of the exhibitions is on sculpture and drawing since 1950.

After the visit to Kunstraum Friesenstrasse, we get a short introduction to the "90th Autumn Exhibition" at Kunstverein Hannover, followed by Auke de Vries' lecture "Maßverhältnisse in Kunst und Architektur".

The number of participants is limited and online registration is required.
