Shackleton's Ship, aerial structure

I designed this aerial structure for the outdoor theatre production Albatross, a show based on Shackleton's expedition to Antarctica.

The structure was designed to look like the rigging of a ship, whilst being suitable to suspend aerial performers. The boom of the ship was on a pulley system so that the performer dressed as the albatross could be winched skywards during the show.
