The solution

How humans interact with nature is emblematic of a deep-seated problem: despite being an integral part of it, we treat it as something external—something to be exploited, controlled, and manipulated. Forests are disappearing, ecosystems are being disrupted, and the balance between humans and the environment is increasingly lost. But nature is resilient and ultimately untouchable by human intervention. However destructive our influence, nature will continue to follow its own path, mutate, and endure—even in a world where we may no longer play a role.
