Action and Reaction

These are turbulent times, something you can't ignore. In my sculptures, however, I'm not so much concerned with current events, but rather with the universal and the timeless. The representation is less literal and explicit.

This sculpture is inspired by the theme "action and reaction." I didn't want to create an aggressive sculpture. It's an interplay; when one part pushes forward, the other leans back. The parts keep each other in balance. They don't fit together perfectly, but they are related. It might look precarious, but together they stand in a robust equilibrium, almost unshakeable.
