"Landscapes in the Mind"

For the “Landscapes in the Mind” wall pieces, the artist repeatedly fires porcelain and glazes onto a refractory support. During this process, which lasts for days, multi-layered creations gradually emerge that activate the viewer's imagination.

Since, in contrast to the complex and delicate result, a glaze is a gray, inconspicuous powder before the respective firing, a wealth of experience and imagination is required when designing the surfaces.

These can then be in one piece or in several pieces for larger arrangements.

The surfaces of the “Landscapes in the Mind” works prove to be extremely robust and are also suitable for climatically difficult rooms. It is more or less relief-like and changes its appearance with the type of light that falls on it.
