Conversation with a Stone

This sculpture is inspired by the poem "Conversation with a Stone" by the Polish poet Wislawa Szymborska.

A fragment:

I knock at thestone’s front door.
“It’s only me, let me come in.
“I don’t have a door,” saysthestone.

The sculpture consists of 5 separate parts. I have made an intervention in every stone. An opening, but you don't really get in.The parts together form a unity, a kind of graphic text. It looks like they are talking.

This sculpture is made of AnröchterGrünstein, a green colored German limestone, and is also suitable for outdoor use.
