The Angel of fertility, love, war, and sex
Considered as one of the more powerful sky deities, she was the divine personification of the planet Venus. A heavenly being, to both the Assyrians and Babylonians, Ishtar was the goddess of fertility, love, war, and sex. During the reign of Constantine and the Christianisation of the lands Easter was created from the mythology surrounding the goddess Ishtar.

Ištar or Ishtar was the Babylonian goddess of love and beauty, of life, of fertility. It was mainly associated with sexuality: its worship involved sacred prostitution; the holy city Uruk was called the "city of the sacred courtesans", and she herself was the "courtesan of the gods"
