Installation, Art Trail Andermatt, Juni - October 2021
The work of artist Vera Staub consists in the conscious shaping of transitions. She highlights contradictions without reifying them. The Urseren valley near Andermatt is dominated by a harsh climate with strong winds. Staub complements these sometimes unpleaseant forces with the element of water: objects made from aluminium are floating on two ponds. Interacting with the sun, clouds, and winds, these 'water lilies' constantly create new images, swaying and seemingly alive.
