Dialogue: Visionary Environment
Guided Tour to the "residential" sculpture by Rita Hoch and Norbert Fink
Discover the fascinating life's work of Rita Hoch and Norbert Fink at this Dialogue. Over almost three decades, the two artists have transformed their home, an old Calenberg brick house, into a living sculpture that appeals to all the senses.
Glazed openings, sculptural wall forms, mosaics on floors and walls and artfully designed furnishings merge into a total work of art that blurs the boundaries between art and life. Unlike a museum, this place does not offer mere contemplation, but an immersion in a fantasy world created by the artists, in which visitors are surrounded by powerful visions and experience a different reality.
The building, inconspicuous on the outside, contains a treasure of artistic work on the inside that has so far remained hidden from the public. The imminent sale and renovation threaten to change this unique art irretrievably. So take advantage of this exclusive guided tour as the only opportunity to experience the house and its art before it is changed forever.
In addition, the Dialogue presents a collection of sculptures and mosaic sculptures, as well as photographic and audio documents of the former residents, which are on display to the public in the nearby village smithy.
