Galerie Rehberg
The gallery was opened in 1973 on Johannisstrasse in the shadow of Mainz Cathedral. The gallery rooms on the Rhine have been on Uferstrasse since 1980. In summer 2010, after 37 years of exhibition activity in Mainz, the gallery moved to the small HunsrĂĽck village of Horn near Simmern.Â
Art critic Christian Huther said that Dagmar Rehberg's artists were like solitaires, whose positions were firmly anchored like rocks.Â
The focus of the gallery is on the field of sculpture, in which visual and haptic are combined.
The sculptures are placed in Horn in a large old garden. The visitor can get an impression of how large sculptures work in the great outdoors. With her concentrated program, the gallery owner has made a name for herself among collectors at home and abroad. Formal rigor, intensity and concentration on the essentials characterize their artists.Â
