Bad RagARTz - Swiss Triennial of Sculpture
Swiss Triennial of Sculpture
Bad Ragartz – Europe’s largest sculpture exhibition
The Bad Ragartz was founded in 2000 by Esther and Rolf Hohmeister and has since become a passionately supported three-generation project of the Hohmeister family. Their long-standing commitment follows a clear goal: to make art in public space freely accessible and tangible for everyone. Each edition of the exhibition attracts up to nearly one million visitors. Around 400 sculptures transform Bad Ragaz into a vibrant city of shapes and colours.
In addition to the international sculpture triennial, which takes place every three years, events such as Dorfart – a participatory art and community festival in the village centre – enrich the local cultural life between the major exhibitions.
