Villa Arson- Centre National des Arts Plastiques
Each year Villa Arson organizes three exhibitions cycles, centered on three different approaches: emergence, research and international collaborations.
They are conceived in accordance with
- the residencies program for artists, curators and researchers;
- projects conducted in collaboration with foreign institutions in the fields of creation, higher education and research according to the institution’s international strategy;
- projects developed by participants in the Arts PhD program;
- educational and/or research programs initiated by teachers and their partnerships.
These group or solo exhibitions aim to showcase the work of artists fully engaged in contemporary practices and demonstrating an interest in experimentation and discovery.
To assist in discovering the exhibitions, Villa Arson students offer guided tours during which they call forth their own personal fields of interest in connection with the artistic issues raised by the program.
The accompanying documents and the exhibition signage are created by the graphic design studio In the shade of a tree.
