The objects I create express my observations and thinking in three-dimensional abstractions and metaphors. I am generally interested in genesis and the nature of all, and influence: Philosophical, religious and social approaches, doctrines and systems as well as approaches to a natural scientific comprehension of the world or to its artistic interpretation.
I'm working in cycles, exploring an idea, image or allegorical reference through a number of related pieces that provide differing approaches.
I like using glass. It allows me to combine subtle coloration with formed shapes. By removing successive layers at crucial points, I create openings which draw the attention of the eye and the mind to what is going on deep inside the object.
