Public dedication ceremony for "Fruits of Knowledge," a new sculpture by Mirek Struzik, unveiled at the Forest Green Branch Library, Dallas. August 20, 2026, 7:30 PM.
The City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture and Dallas Public Library invite you to the public dedication of "Fruits of Knowledge," a new sculpture by Polish artist Mirek Struzik, commissioned for the Forest Green Branch Library.
The work draws on the mature tree canopies surrounding the library site and on mythological imagery of knowledge-bearing fruit, connecting the sculpture's form to the library's function as a place of learning. Executed in electropolished stainless steel with programmable RGB lighting, the piece changes character after dark, extending its presence beyond daylight hours.
"Fruits of Knowledge" is part of the City of Dallas Public Art Collection (CD.2026.04).
