Paper, which we encounter in everyday life as a banal material of little value, has long since established itself in art not only as a medium for writing or images, but also as an independent medium. Very flexible, it can be folded, bent, embossed, torn, crumpled or cut, has tension and volume, is stable and sensitive at the same time. Representatives of Paper Art value it as a material with high aesthetic potential, which offers limitless possibilities for sculptural-spatial design in a wide variety of qualities.

In a double exhibition, the Neue Galerie Dachau and the Kallmann-Museum Ismaning are presenting sculptural paper art of the highest artistry, great creative diversity and the most varied content.

From April 13 to June 2, 2024, the Galerie im Schlosspavillon Ismaning (www.schlosspavillon-ismaning.de) will be hosting an exhibition entitled
