The prominent Austrian author of monumental works for public spaces, Josef Baier (1951), presents his kinetic sound installation Hörkurven (2017) in the Bassinhalle of the Regional Gallery Liberec, in which numerous moving pendulums produce a precisely tuned sound. The sound composition is linked to visual perception - the undulating path of moving pendulums.  The broader context of Baier's work is presented in other exhibition rooms of the gallery - abstract geometric works in which the aesthetic level is combined with philosophical and mathematical inspiration, installations related to the four main elements and playful kinetic creations.
