Your movements and interactions bring artworks to life inside Solid Light, a focused exhibition dedicated to the immersive works of Anthony McCall.
As beams of light create shifting shapes before your eyes, move through the space and become a canvas for the projection. Walk, sit, reach, spin, as you discover mesmerising interplays of light and shadow.
Influenced by sculpture, cinema and drawing, McCall is known for his innovative installations of light interacting with mist to create three-dimensional forms. In 1973, his seminal work Line Describing a Cone redefined the possibilities of sculpture.
