Exploring Barcelona's Coastal Sculptures: An Exclusive Guided Tour
Guided tour by Imma Pueyo, artist, historian and art critic; and by Dr. Josep Roy, sculptor, professor of the Department of Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona.
We will visit the neighbourhood that was born with the 1992 Olympic Games, the context in which the urban transformation of the city and its opening towards the sea was promoted. Most of the works of art that we will see in public spaces, in parks and squares, are from 1992, although not all.
Apart from the 20 m sculpture high, by Antoni Llena, the itinerary will show us works by Auke de Vries, Eduardo Úrculo, Robert Llimós, Andreu Alfaro, Javier Mariscal, Antoni Roselló and Francesc Fornells i Pla.
