'Hallo, LiebeRuth, Fragen - Déjà Vu? Abonnement inconnu!'

In order to translate this long-standing practice of artistic publishing into a concrete exhibition format, the artists have considered past issues of the magazine, their curatorial projects and performative performances as a repository from which elements and details are extracted and placed in current contexts. Through this approach, they illustrate not only the highlights and developments of their collaborations, but also the medium-related disruptions and changes that have taken place over time. The exhibition thus offers revealing insights into the project and its driving forces, which are characterised by a belief in the diversity, coexistence and effectiveness of artistic means in describing, documenting and improving our world and its inhabitants. The exhibition space becomes a walk-in layout, a large editorial backdrop and a temporary laboratory for this project, which is based above all on friendship and curiosity.

In addition to the presentation of all previous issues, a new issue entitled 'LiebeRuth' will also be produced during this exhibition and presented at the NKW in September 2023. The release of the new issue is a programme item in the supporting programme of the exhibition, which will also include performances, concerts and screenings.
