Patricia Kaersenhout

The work consists of four large triangular tables at which she places sixty black women and women of colour. All of them resisted oppression and inequality during their lifetimes. 

Who’s Coming To Dinner Too? was jointly acquired by four Dutch museums in 2021, including the Van Abbemuseum. The exhibition Relinking: Patricia Kaersenhout presents one of these four tables which gives fifteen forgotten and under-recognised heroines a stage. Visitors are introduced to them through an audio tour narrated by the artist.
