MARBLE SCULPTURE BASE COURSE

COURSE CONTENT:

Introduction to the techniques of sculpture, the tools and their specific use, the different qualities of Carrara marble and their characteristics and applications.

Techniques and basic processes of marble sculpture.

Positioning of the model (designed by each participant or made available by the laboratory) in the marble block approx. 30x20x50 cm provided by the laboratory, and machining from roughing to modeling to finishing the project.

COURSE DURATION:

6 days Monday-Saturday, 6 hours per day 8.00 am - 2.00 pm

it's possible to prolong the work freely until the closure of the laboratory at 6 pm (study opening hours Monday-Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm).

accommodation in a single room, 7 nights, breakfast included.
