Picasso. Ceramics

Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) is an artist greatly appreciated at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and in the Louisiana collection. Several exhibitions have been shown over the years with the focus on special periods or themes in his oeuvre. One particular, perhaps less well known area of his oeuvre, Picasso’s original ceramic works, has not previously been presented in Scandinavia in a major selection. Louisiana wishes to remedy that with this exhibition at a time of great renewed interest in ceramics. The exhibition will be showing more than 150 works.
