Selbstliebe (Self-Compassion)

It began with a feeling of being alone. While modelling in clay, this feeling turned into a turning towards oneself: a head with two faces nestles against its own body, and the figure becomes its own counterpart. Regina Längle later transferred the form into marble using the three-compass pointing method. The slow work in stone deepened this self-embrace.
