Bodice

Working also as an Alexander teacher, I am drawn as a to the theme of our-selves, the landscape of our physicality. I try to find expression of our fragility, tenderness and resilience through carving stone and wood. More surreal combinations of materials with opposing qualities may convey pain, vulnerability and hope.

This is an injured and constraint, inside-out body, with blood cells and nerves showing on the outside
