I’m singing from my cousins that I no longer see

I’m singing for all these cities that have no strength to stand

I’m singing for Putin to be taken to the promised land

We take off his boots before we send them to the fire

We need them on the front lines

Digging trenches to hide our memories in

Digging graves playing to Ukraine funeral songs

No way to live no way to die but we want our country back

All the women sing in your hearts are crying from foreign lands

For your love and your safety .

We keep your children in our arms

and hold our memories of you so dear
