- Moral dilemma
Matter of consciousness
The only living being on earth considered to have intelligence and conscience is man. Man's act of destruction is for the most part a voluntary act. And where there is voluntariness, there is intention! The intention being conscious, coming from the intellect, the head, the brain. Destruction will, however, generate a tug-of-war, an inner split in consciousness, between the will to destroy and a residue of ethical and humanist awareness, however small. On the other hand, from all destruction, something will remain and even be reborn, like a seed (the shape of the head) that has fallen into the debris.
