Metamorphosis

I contemplated the fusion of two beings, giving rise to a new identity. Throughout history, mythological writings explore the union of man and woman, seeking a fresh state of being.

In the Epic of  Gilgamesh, gods create Enkidu, but his animalistic  traits prevail. To reveal his humanity, a woman is  tasked and succeeds. Today, I notice parallels in the union of man and  woman, emphasizing the man's animalistic nature  and the woman's ability to temper it. Titled  "Metamorphosis," my composition employs  metaphors and materials to depict two contrasting  elements, illustrating the convergence of male and  female energies.
