Marie Antoinette

Inspired by a large mushroom I found while on a walk in the countryside; finished it reminded my of a recent book I read by Caroline Weber (no relation) called What Marie Antoinette wore to the Revolution and the subsequent movie directed by Sofia Coppola, an example of how there is more than one reading for a sculpture.

Created from found cardboard at a residency at the International Oberpfalzer Kunstlerhaus,Schwandorf, Germany. Collection of ZMS Corporation, Schwandorf, Germany
