Boogie Woogie Angel

When the lockdown during the Pandemic began, I found it difficult to continue with these joyful colors until I did some research about Piet Mondrian whose work inspired this series.

His painting, Broadway Boogie Woogie, was created in 1943 during the darkest days of WWII. It gave me the courage to look for beauty, joy and wonder much like Mondrian did in difficult circumstances.
