Broken Beyond Repair
This sculpture is the representation of a soldier suffering PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). A small head made out of red clay not fired in the kiln; it has open its mouth and rounded stones as eyes. The sculpture also has a big wound stitched up with several metallic screws in a row. The clay is cracked up and shows the metallic wire used as structure to support the clay. The sculpture has also missing chunks of clay giving a lot of character to it. The black colour was giving pouring india ink all over the sculpture.
