2001 hat die Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina – Nationale Akademie der Wissenschaften Leopoldina die Frage „Was ist es, das in uns schmerzt?“ als Akademische Frage an Wissenschaftler und Künstler gestellt. Sie wollte wissen, woran Rodins Denker wohl denken mag, woran er leidet. Meine Antwort war eindeutig: Nichts kann einen Mann so schmerzen wie eine lieblose Frau. Es entstand meine kürzeste Publikation im Berliner Wissenschafts-Verlag (BWV 2001).
In 2001, the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina – National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina posed the question "What is it that pains us?" as an Academic Question to scientists and artists. They wanted to know what Rodin's Thinker might be thinking about, what he was suffering from. My answer was clear: Nothing can hurt a man as much as a loveless woman. This resulted in my shortest publication, published by Berliner Wissenschafts-Verlag (BWV 2001).
