Andreas Rimpel lives and works in Bavaria, Germany. He creates his artwork using his talent and technical experience as a developer and manufacturer of couplings for machines and robots. This knowledge and craftsmanship as well as intuition and power of observation are the foundation of his artwork.
In early stages of his artwork he created small and large paintings in oil, inspired by Bauhaus and Cubism. Around the year 2000 he started to sculpt.
Growing older human feelings are more and more in his focus. To transport these expressions he used the three-dimensionality of sculpting in his unique manner.
the developmental process has a high priority in his work. During the artistic process he skillfully reduces the divers feelings of mankind to portray the core of emotions.
