PABLO BARREIRO
My sculptural work is characterised by an exploration of the form of
the everyday through traditional sculptural techniques. I am
interested in the conflict between art and craft. How the idea of
original and copy is transformed in different moments of Art History,
how traditional and everyday forms have been incorporated into
artistic languages. To do this, I use techniques and processes in which
reproducibility plays an important role, from more industrial processes
to craft processes such as ceramics. I am interested in incorporating a
certain erratic process, manuality and the trace as formal solutions in
each work
