Sergei Karev

I weave forms together with meanings and make them curl. Then they
crystalize into static objects.
It may be seen as exploration of the natural in its cultural reflections and of the social in the shape of the sensual. It’s a kind of sculptural dreaming: the thread can’t always be taken, but it is always something winding around.
My basic medium is steel. I like its hardness and plasticity.
