As an artist, I tell stories through line, color, and form — creating sculptures that serve as touchstones for the community and reflect the historical significance of a place.

My background in art therapy influences my process: I work from a deep place of feeling, using humor and wit to make art approachable and inclusive. I encourage public interaction, inviting people to connect, express themselves, and see themselves within the work.

Each piece is crafted with the materials that best serve its story — from steel, wood, and stone to ceramics, bronze, glass, and paint. My technical skills in industrial design support every phase of the project, from initial sketch to production and installation, often introducing an innovative element.

Community participation plays a central role in my projects, guided by coaching techniques that empower local voices.

I envision my art as a portal of connection across generations and cultures. I feel a strong personal bond with both Amsterdam and New York City, which continues to shape my creative journey.
