Cosmos

“Cosmos” was created in the context of the Olympic Games held in Greece in 2004.

The sculpture consists of five circles. Four of them are formed of human bodies and the hands of human figures, while the fifth serves as a pedestal.

The composition symbolizes the idea of Cosmos and its dynamic movement, the co-existence of peoples, the mutual understanding and the competition as a means of encouraging new ideas and young people. In the sculpture, there is an inside space accessible to the visitor. It is made of color coated iron. “Cosmos” is located in the park of Nea Ionia, in the town of Volos, Greece.
