sculpture network - on the way to the new future
In 2004 Ralf Kirberg and the sculptor Hartmut Stielow created the wonderful sculpture network. In more than fifteen years, this European network developed many ways to exchange and bind together artists,
museums, galleries, institutions and lovers of sculpture.
Nevertheless, the liquidation of the association with its possible dissolution had to be initiated by decision of the General Meeting on October 3, 2020. However, already at this time there was the justified perspective to fill the association with new life after a profound restructuring process. This seems to have succeeded!
In the extraordinary General Meeting on February 13, 2021, the regulatory steps of the Liquidator were approved, a future concept was presented by a committed group of artists from the membership and a new Board was elected. This will take office as soon as in a further extraordinary General Meeting on March 14, 2021 the members will (prematurely) end the liquidation and pass a resolution on the continuation of the association. "Stand up for sculpture" - many committed members have followed this call: "By the artists for the artists" is the core of the new concept! Look forward to it, too!
Please use the information provided on the website under "Facts and Figures", especially the annual reports of the past years, the minutes of the General Meetings and the presentation of the "Think Tank" which took place on 13.02.2021. They show the diversity of sculpture network.
Ilaria Specos, project manager of sculpture network e.V., works in her home office, so the office is easily accessible for all your welcome news, suggestions and contact via info@sculpture-network.org or the contact form.
