Lustwarande - Platform for Contemporary Sculpture
LUSTWARANDE – Platform for Contemporary Sculpture organizes internationally trendsetting exhibitions of contemporary sculpture at De Oude Warande park in Tilburg, the best-preserved Baroque woodlands in the Netherlands. Lustwarande’s aim is to stimulate the development, promotion and appreciation of contemporary sculpture.
Lustwarande enables both renowned and established artists and young talents from all over the world to produce new works, most of which are made specially for the location. More than 200 artists have participated in the period 2000–2019, including Atelier van Lieshout, Rob Birza, Louise Bourgeois, Lee Bul, Cai Guo Qiang, Tom Claassen, Berlinde De Bruyckere, Wim Delvoye, Elmgreen & Dragset, Luciano Fabro, Michel François, Guido Geelen, Dan Graham, Camille Henrot, Thomas Houseago, David Jablonowski, Ann Veronica Janssens, Mark Manders, Anish Kapoor, Sarah Lucas, Paul McCarthy, Ernesto Neto, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Ugo Rondinone, Maria Roosen, Marien Schouten, Moniek Toebosch, Rebecca Warren and Franz West.
