Dierbaar Dier - Dear Animal

The animal is the theme of this spring exhibition and of the accompanying book of the same name. The reason for all this is the fact that Fiona Zondervan (1963) has been working as an animal artist for 30 years this year. We celebrate that in the museum and have expanded her stable to a "colorful menagerie", because no fewer than 42 fellow artists responded to the call to participate. So this spring a colorful procession of dear animals will take full possession of the museum. It flies, flutters, purrs and grunts; it bleats, beats, batters and bursts. In short: those who love animals should definitely not miss this beastly beautiful spectacle!
