STATEMENT
Since 2012 I have been working increasingly in the direction of object, textile, ceramic and large-scale installation art.
Thematically, I concentrate in particular on the question of what contribution my artistic work can make to environmental issues.
First I invited to installations with aluminum coffee capsules pointing up to the big damage for soil, water, and healthyness of mankind working with aluminium.
With the conviction that joint action is necessary, since 2021 I built several large-format walk-in "rescue nests of Noah's Ark of the 21st century" with wool, rescue blankets and wire. 2022 I built up the Goldboat in Cologne Rheinau Harbour. 2023, for the first time, I involved 300 people worldwide in the event "Liedberg in the butterfly and art frenzy" (https://youtu.be/S_A2AgBfbHA). 75 Persons worldwide crocheted 2000 butterflies for this participatory artwork. I also set up this participatory golden rescue nest in the Citykirche in Mönchengladbach (Germ) with my extensive butterfly textile object exhibition. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLazldErUtU, you can´t cage butterflies) . For easter I am invited to set up the golden rescue nest in the Kathedral of Auckland, NZ : Celebration of Nature/
Parallel to my art work, I have been running my "Kunsthaus Dreho" - Kunsthaus + Kunstgarten in the small listed medieval Liedberg for 13 years. The last 6 years with international shows.
