Trudering Art Days

Call for tenders 2024:

Concept
The cultural centre in Munich-Trudering is once again organising the Trudering Art Days over Easter 2024. 24 artists will be given the opportunity to present their works in their own small exhibitions within the cultural centre. The entire building will thus become a centre for the visual arts over the Easter period.
The aim is to show a wide range of themes, forms of expression and techniques thanks to the large number of participating artists. Another focus is the direct contact between the creative artists and the interested public. The Trudering Art Days are therefore deliberately limited to the days between Maundy Thursday and Easter Monday, because all exhibitors must be present in person at the cultural centre during the opening hours of the exhibition (Maundy Thursday vernissage from 7 pm, the following days from 1 pm to 6 pm).

Public prizes
At the Truderinger Kunst-Tage 2024, two audience prizes will once again be awarded (700 euros and 500 euros). Visitors will use their voting cards to decide which two of the exhibitors will be honoured with the prizes at the finissage on Easter Monday at 6 pm. In addition to the first prize, the bronze Trude winner's trophy will also be awarded.

Organiser
The organisers are the non-profit associations "Bürgerzentrum Trudering e.V." and "Truderinger Kulturkreis e.V.". The project is sponsored by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich.

Services provided by the organisers
The organisers provide the exhibition rooms and organise and coordinate the exhibition with volunteers. They will draw attention to the exhibition with outdoor advertising on the building, take over the press work and advertise the exhibition on the Internet, if possible in the underground, on advertising pillars as well as with flyers and posters.
All participating artists will be provided with up to 100 invitation cards, also as pdf files, for their own mailing. The organisers will invite the respective association members and other interested parties and host the vernissage. Admission to the exhibition is free. The cafeteria in the cultural centre will also be open during opening hours.

24 artists can present their work in their own small exhibitions. There are exhibition opportunities for paintings and photographic works as well as sculptures and objects. Two audience prizes will be awarded at the finissage on the last day of the exhibition. In addition, the first place winner will receive a bronze winner's trophy, the "Trude".

If you would like to take part in this exhibition, you are cordially invited to submit the enclosed application documents and, as an example, four photographs (minimum format 13 x 18 centimetres) of the works to be exhibited by no later than
