The exchange between the students is instructive, inspiring and exciting.

Training & Studies

During the three- to four-year apprenticeship, students learn the traditional craft of stone sculpture in its entirety. From the first year of study, a great deal of emphasis is placed on the creative subjects, from the design to the finished model. Figurative-classical studies, nature studies as well as modern-abstract design principles come into play. Art history and selected aesthetically and culturally important works are taught. The training is divided into four levels to ensure a consistent structure.
