Growing up in the UK was inevitably governed by the weather. A particularly strong memory is the twilight hours of summer when even at midnight, objects had a clarity and mystery. This collection of work is made ostensibly from dark woods such as mahogany and jarrah to reflect that quality of light but with the addition of laminated wood courtesy of IKEA marketplace, the forms are fanciful.
