With the infinite possibilities of the universe, parallel worlds become possible, but are the forces that traverse them controllable? Is this process accompanied by a sense of irreversible dread? 21 Doors is constructed from eighteen discarded doors, forming a cube. Each side is composed of three doors, misaligned in an alternating pattern of horizontals and verticals. Three interior sliding doors obscure the view through the door windows. The viewer may try in vain to unblock the view by pushing the sliding doors along the rails from the outside.
