Exclusive guided tour by curator Anne Berk at Kunstcentret Silkeborg Bad

Tour of Two Exhibitions: Get inspired by Feel the Space of the Forest, and the wonderful wood sculptures of Mirko Zrinšćak

Feel the Space of the Forest reflects on our relationship with the forest, an essential element for our survival. Eleven international artists highlight different aspects of the forest—as a repository of memory, a botanical site, a climate regulator, a CO2 absorber, a site for activism, a sacred place, and a space for contemplation.

Croatian sculptor Mirko Zrinšćak (b. 1953) brings the invisible to light. Living in seclusion in the forest of Mount Učka, his elongated, pulsating, rhythmic forms are meditations on the hidden forces of nature, created in dialogue with the trees from which they are made.

Anne Berk is a curator, critic, and Chairperson of Sculpture Network, based in the Netherlands.
