Dialogue in Buxheim, Bavaria DE

The Upper Swabian Charterhouse Buxheim is hosting the exhibition BuxArt - Let's talk about sculpture. In this curated exhibition, the Swiss sculpture school Scuola di Scultura presents almost 50 works by 32 international artists.

The cloister and the adjacent picturesque Johannisgarten of the former monastery serve as exhibition space for the artworks.

Some of the artworks deal directly with the historical context of the former monastery, others with general themes such as transience.

The exhibition of the Scuola di Scultura presents sculptures by lecturers, students, graduates and freelance artists alike. It thus provides a well-founded insight into the educational work of the sculpture school in Peccia in Ticino https://www.scultura.ch/en

During a tour of the exhibition, the individual positions will be presented and discussed. After lunch together, we will be given a guided tour of the historic Charterhouse.

12:30 p.m. Lunch break in the neighbouring "Sonne" restaurant

14:00 Guided tour of the historic Charterhouse

Participation:

Normal price 15,00 €

Members of the Sculpture Network 12,00 €

Travel costs and lunch are not included.

Payment on site in cash in an envelope.

Maximum 25 participants, priority for members.
The number of participants is limited and online registration is required.

Deadline for registration is 15 October 2023.
