Based on Boky’s self-portrait, this sculpture is not only about what can happen to us when we get lost in a love that seems to be grander than grand and we lose our own identity.  It is also about women’s place in our society and that self-effacing nature of the role that is imposed on us.  It is about hope, about reacting and taking one’s just place in life.  It is about not allowing anyone to take possession of our spirit just because they think they can.
