OpenArt 2022

Different juries have selected this year’s artists, who represent six different continents. More than 60 artists who all carry different stories contribute their contemporary artworks in all types of mediums. Together they tell the story of our time. For three summer months Örebro will be the art arena where contemporary artists are given the space to express themselves and where spontaneous meetings take place throughout the city center.

The purpose of the exhibition is to give a wide range of people the possibility to encounter contemporary art in new ways and without a ticket. The biennial is primarily outdoor and therefore available both day and night. You find the art in the middle of the city, at shopping malls, in windows, on facades, in the water and around the castle, in parks and other unexpected places.
